The Govt. of Assam has invited online applications from eligible and intending candidates for recruitment of 12,600 Nos of Grade III and Grade IV Vacancies under the Assam Direct Recruitment 2.0. - Category I: Bachelor Degree Level

Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute.
- Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration and Stenography Certificate from a recognized Institute.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute.

Age Limit for ADRE Grade III Posts:
The applicant shall not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age as of 01-01-2023. The upper age limit is relaxable only as stipulated below. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council/School / or other Government document, as applicable and notified.

Application Fee for ADRE Recruitment 2023
- There will be no application fee for all the categories of candidates.
- Candidates are not required to pay any application fee for submission of their online applications.
Selection Procedure for Assam Direct Recruitment
For Grade III Posts:
The Selection Criteria and the mode of examination for the different categories of posts shall be communicated in due course of time. However, after the written examination, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a skill test viz. Computer/Stenography/Driving Skill tests etc.
The shortlisted candidates will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Age proof Certificate, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Computer Proficiency Certificate (as applicable), Disability Certificate (in case of PwBD candidates) and Declaration in Form-“A” under Rule 5(I) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 as available in the website for verification at the time to be notified later on.
For Grade IV Posts:
There shall be two parts to the selection process – Written test and Interview.
The scheme of examination shall be strict as per the “Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022” as amended from time to time. Further, this scheme will be published at least one week before the conduct of the written test.
The selected candidate will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Certificate of proof of age, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Disability Certificate (in case of PWBD candidates), and Declaration in Form – “A” under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment), Rules, 2019 for verification at the time to be notified later on, amongst others. An undertaking about the fulfillment of all eligibility criteria has to be uploaded to the portal. The Discharge certificate will be required in the case of an Ex-serviceman.
