Nationality / Citizenship: Candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years old.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxations are as mentioned below.
- UR: 5
- OBC/MOBC: 5+3
- SC: 5+5
- ST: 5+5
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be 10th passed or equivalent from a recognized board or institute.
Sports Qualification:
- (i) Players who have represented in any recognized International events representing the country. Or
- (ii) Players represented a State/UT in the Senior or Junior level National championship Or
- (iii) Players represented a University in an Inter-University competition. Or
- (iv) Players represented the State Schools in the National Sports/Games for Schools. Or
- (v) Players awarded National Award in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.
