Women & Child Development Department, Assam has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of 05 Instructor Vacancies for filling up the vacancies as indicated below under the Directorate of Women & Child Development, Assam, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-1.

WCD Department Assam Recruitment 2023

1. Instructor, Cutting & Tailoring

No of Posts: 02 [UR-1, OBC/MOBC-1]

Salary: Pay band 2, Rs.14, 000-65,000/-, Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/-p.m.

Educational Qualification:

• HSSLC passed
• Diploma in cutting and tailoring from a recognized Institution.

 

2. Instructor, Craft

No of Posts: 03 [UR-2, OBC/MOBC-1]

Salary: Pay band 2, Rs.14, 000-65,000/-, Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/-p.m.

Educational Qualification:

• HSSLC passed
• A diploma in Carpentry from ITI is a must for the post.

Age Limit for WCD Department Recruitment

The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2023

• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5(five) years for ST/SC candidates and is relaxable by 3(three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
• The upper age limit for persons with disabilities is relaxable by I()(ten) years (irrespective of caste )
• The upper age limit for ex-servicemen is relaxable by 2 years.

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of Birth Certificate/ HSLC/AHM Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council. No other document shall accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.
