Guwahati Municipal Corporation has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of Various Assistant Sanitary Inspector Positions.

Guwahati Municipal Corporation has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of 15 Assistant Sanitary Inspector Vacancy.

Name of post: Assistant Sanitary Inspector

No of posts: 15 posts

Remuneration: Rs. 17,000/- p.m.

Engagement Period: The engagement will be on a contractual basis for a period of 11 months only. Based on the performance and requirements of GMC, the contract may further be extended if their services are required further. 

Nationality: Candidates must be native citizens of Assam.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 30 years of Age as on 1st Jan 2024.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should be a graduate with Chemistry/ Biology as one of the subjects in Intermediate/ Class 10+2 level/ Higher Secondary.

Or

Candidates must have completed Intermediate/ Class 10+2 with Chemistry/ Biology as one of the subject and a Diploma in Sanitary Inspector/ Public Health/ Solid Waste Management from an Institute recognized by the Government of India.

 

Preference: Candidates with a bachelor's Degree in fields related to Environmental Science/ Public Health/ Sanitation/ Solid Waste Management.

Candidates shall bring original documents/ certificates at the interview for verification, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear. Candidates are required to bring PAN Card or any Valid ID and/ or address proof at the interview.
