The Office of District Commissioner (DC Office) Kamrup Metro has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the appointment of the 03 District Project Manager (DPM) and also of District Technical Support Staff (DTSS) Posts.

1. District Project Manager (DPM)
No. of posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 22000/- per month
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with working knowledge of computer
Experience: Minimum two years of experience working in the IT field and having knowledge of computer system
2. District Technical Support Staff (DTSS)
No. of posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 14000/- per month
Educational Qualification: 10+2 with a diploma in IT
Experience: Minimum one year of experience working in the IT field

Other Eligibility Criteria of DC Office Kamrup Metro Recruitment
Age Limit: The maximum age for applying for the post Of DPM & DTSS shall be 41 years as of 1st January 2023.
This age limit shall be relaxed for the applicant who has been serving in a similar position under that or any other District Administration, by a number of years served up to a maximum of 8 years.
Duration of Assignment: The initial contract of DPM & DTSS shall be for 11 (eleven) months. The duration of the contract may be extended for the next term based on satisfactory performance & good conduct evaluated on the 10th month of every ongoing contract period.
Work Location:
- The primary work location for DPM shall be the Office of the District Commissioner, Kamrup Metro, and the incumbent may be required to provide services across the district.
- The DTSS shall be required to provide technical support at Sub-District Offices and Revenue Circle Offices or as required by DeGS, Kamrup Metro.
Selection Criteria:
- There shall be a written exam followed by a personal interview for both DPM& DTSS posts separately.
- In the written exam, 50 nos. Multiple-choice questions shall be asked comprising a total of 50 marks from topics: General Awareness, Maths, Quantitative Aptitude& Reasoning, and Knowledge of Computer Systems.
- The personal interview shall be of a total of 50 Marks and the final selection Of the candidate shall be done based on the summation of the marks obtained in the written exam and the personal interview (out Of 100).
- For the candidates who have been serving in similar positions under any District Administration across the state, 2 (two) marks shall be awarded for each year of service offered up to a maximum of 16 marks in the personal interview for a maximum experience period of 8 years.
