| Educational Qualification | Candidates must have passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology and completed a one-year elementary Veterinary Science course from the Govt.-recognized "School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry" in Ghungoor, Silchar. |
| Citizenship | Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. |
| Physical Standard | Candidates for Veterinary Field Assistant must be mentally and physically sound, free from any health issues that could hinder their duties, and must pass a medical examination prior to appointment. |
| Age Limit | Candidates must be aged 18–40 years as of 01/01/2022–01/01/2025, per Govt. Memo No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020. Age Relaxation Below -

The duly filled Application should be addressed to the Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-781003, and be submitted physically in the Drop Box during office hours on or before 6th March 2025 (5.00 PM) at the Directorate or by Registered Post.
