1. Programme Head (Professor in Education or Associate Professor in Education)

Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in Science or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Commerce or Languages.
- M.Ed.
- Ph.D. in Education.
- Ten Years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution for a Professor and Eight Years for an Associate Professor.
- Any other relevant qualification prescribed by the University Grants Commission for these categories of posts.
2. Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy

- Geography: 01

- Assamese / English / Hindi/ Bengali / Bodo: 01
- Communicative Skill in English: 01

Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in concerned subjects with minimum 55% marks.
- B.Ed. degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET/PhD in concerned subjects as prescribed by the UGC/NCTE.
3. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies

Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.), with a Minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
- NET/SLET/PhD in Education.
Desirable: Master's degree in Psychology or Philosophy or Sociology or their allied subjects.
4. Assistant Professor in Health & Physical Education

Educational Qualification:
- Master of Physical Education (M.P. Ed.) with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
5. Assistant Professor in Art Education

- Post Graduate Degree in Performing Arts Visual Arts with a minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
6. Career Guidance & Counselling
