Tezpur University has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates to recruit 02 Research Assistants & Field Investigator Posts in an ICSSR-sponsored minor research project titled “Mapping Textual Traditions of Bargita: Manuscript to Print” under the Project Director Dr. Sanjib Deka, Assistant Professor, Department of Assamese.

Tezpur University Recruitment 2024

1. Research Assistant

No. of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Ph.D/M.Phil/ Post Graduate altogether in Assamese with minimum 55% marks. Sound knowledge in pre-modern manuscript reading is also needed

Salary: Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty-seven thousand) only per month (as per approved emolument of ICSSR)

2. Field Investigator

No. of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Postgraduate in Assamese with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidate with knowledge of pre-modern

manuscript reading will also be preferred

Salary: Rs. 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand) only per month (as per approved emolument of ICSSR).

Age Limit:

Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. The upper age limit may also be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Interested and suitable candidates who have fulfilled the eligibility mentioned above criteria may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), any other testimonials, a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and application in prescribed format (Annexure-I) on the day of the interview to the below-mentioned address on or before the last date.
