Women & Child Development (WCD) Assam has invited ONLINE applications from eligible and intending candidates to recruit 315 Resident superintendents, Office assistants, MPS, cooks, Security guards, etc Posts under “Shakti Sadan” for various districts under Women and Child Development (WCD) Department, Assam.

1. Resident Superintendent
No of posts: 35 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any woman having a Master in Law/ Social Work/ Sociology/Social Science/Psychology with at least 5 years" experience of working on women-related relevant domains in an administrative set-up with a Government or Non-Government project/program and preferably with at least 1-year experience of counseling either within or outside the same set-up.
The candidate should be preferably a resident of the local community so that local human resource and expertise is utilized for the effective functioning of the center.
2. Office Assistant
No of posts: 35 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person who is a graduate with a minimum of 3- years experience in handling office documentation-related jobs with proficiency in working on computers, at the state or district level with government or Non Governmental organizations.
3. Multi-purpose Staff
No of posts: 70 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person who is literate with knowledge /experience of working in the relevant domain. A high school pass or equivalent will be preferred.
4. Cook
No of posts: 70 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person who is literate with knowledge /experience of working in the relevant domain. A high school pass or equivalent will be preferred.
5. Security Guard/ Night Guard
No of posts: 105 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person having at least 2 years" experience of working as security personnel in a government or reputed organization at the district/ state level. He/ she should preferably be retired military/ para-military personnel.
District/s: Bajali, Baksa, Barpeta, Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Charaideo, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima-Hasao, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Hojai, Jorhat, Kamrup Metro, Kamrup, Karbi- Anglong, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Majuli, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Sonitpur, South Salmara-Mankachar, Tamulpur, Tinsukia, Udalguri and West Karbi-Anglong.
