The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates to recruitment of 20 Project Scientist ‘F’ (Computer Science & Engineering), Project Scientist ‘D’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering), Project Scientist ‘C’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering), and Project Scientist ‘B’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering) Vacancies.

1. Project Scientist ‘F’ (Computer Science & Engineering)

No. of posts: 01

Salary: Rs. 2,20,717/- per month.

Educational Qualification:

At least a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of working experience in the design and development of application software with scripting languages like Python, Perl / Bash, and Programming languages C / C++.

2. Project Scientist ‘D’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

No. of posts: 10

Salary: Rs.1,24,612/- per month.

Educational Qualification:

At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the design, development & Testing of Electronics/ RF System/ sub systems.
Experience in handling test & measurement equipment like signal generators, Spectrum Analyzers & Network Analyzers.

3. Project Scientist ‘C’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

No. of posts: 07

Salary: Rs.1,08,073/- per month.

Educational Qualification:

At least a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Minimum 3 Years of working experience in the design, development & Testing of Electronics/ RF System/sub-systems.

4. Project Scientist ‘B’ (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

No. of posts: 02

Salary: Rs.37,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (as applicable).

Educational Qualification:

At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.

Age Limit for DRDO Vacancy 2025:

For Project Scientist ‘F’: not exceeding 55 years.
For Project Scientist ‘D’: not exceeding 45 years.
For Project Scientist ‘C’: not exceeding 40 years.
For Project Scientist ‘B’: not exceeding 35 years.

Relaxation in upper age limit (as per Govt. Rules)

Application fee:

Generally, OBC and EWS male candidates are required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only), payable online only. There is no application fee for SC/ST/Divyang and Women candidates.
