About Hailakandi Dist: Hailakandi district is one of the 34 districts of Assam state in north-eastern India. It makes up the Barak Valley alongside Cachar and Karimganj. It was constituted as a civil subdivision on 1 June 1869. Subsequently, it was upgraded to a district in 1989, when it was split from Cachar district. Pay Scale: Rs.30,000/- to Rs.1,10,000/- + G.P Rs.14,500/- only per month plus other allowances as admissible as per rules.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have served either as Head Assistant in the District & Sessions Judge establishment or as Sheristadar in the office of the Addl. District & Sessions Judge continuously for a minimum period of 5(five) years, as per provision laid down in the Assam District & Sessions Judges Ministerial Service Rule 1987.

Candidates who are willing to apply shall submit their application in Standard Form of Application as published in the Assam Gazette in Part IX through proper channels & must affix 2(two) copies of recent passport size (colored) photograph along with self-attested copies of all testimonials and experience certificate (if any), photo-copies of ACRs of last 03 years etc issued by competent authority, through proper channel.
The duly filled-in applications should reach to the Office of District & Sessions Judge Hailakandi Assam on or before 22-05-2024 by 05-00 P.M., by hand or by post. The authority shall not be responsible for any postal delay. The application received after due date and time and incomplete application will be summarily rejected.
