Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing
- Engineering or a related field. Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, such as Lean Six Sigma (Black
- Belt/ Green Belt) or Certified Lean Manufacturing Consultant.
- Desirable knowledge : In-depth understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, JIT, etc.). Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) processes.
- Should have at least 15+ years of experience in manufacturing industries with focus on Lean implementation (in large industries).
- Among the experience a minimum of 5 years of Consultancy level experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Work experience in heavy machinery industries, transport systems (Railways/ Metro) or complex engineering products would be added advantage.
- Understanding engineering-specific challenges, including supply chain management, equipment maintenance, and process efficiency.
- Proven experience in leading Lean transformations in large-scale Manufacturing operations with an ability to adapt Lean principles to complex engineering processes
- Expertise in developing customized lean strategies based on the company’s specific processes and needs with abilities in problem solving, conflict resolution, and a hands-on approach to process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to use data for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency, waste reduction, and lead time improvement.
- Experience in handling large teams & having cross-functional collaboration.
