The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has recently invited online applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of 61 Assistant Accounts Officers Vacancy (AAO) (Class. lll post) of Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL).

Scale of Pay: Rs. 25,00/- to 92,000/- GP: Rs. 8,700/- Pay Band – 3
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B,Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B, Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc).
For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, the minimum qualification mark in a bachelor's degree is 50%.
Other Eligibility: Possess proficiency in computer application and have a diploma certificate in computer application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.

How to Apply for AEGCL Recruitment 2024?
Applicants are required to apply online through APSC's recruitment website. No other means/mode of application will be accepted and the Application will be summarily rejected.
Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC's recruitment website https://apscrecruilmenl.in and register themselves by clicking on 'Reqister Here' link and complete the One Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details.
