1. Registrar, Gauhati University
No. of posts: 01
Pay: Pay Band 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2, 18,200/- admissible Level 14 admissible University of Rs. to Rs. + Other allowances as (Revised UGC scale) - plus other allowances as under the rules of the university.
Age Limite: 45 years.
Educational Qualification:
- A Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a seven-point scale. The PhD degreshall be desirable but not an essential qualification.
- Atleast 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
- Comparable experience in a research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education
- 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
2. Superintending Engineer, Gauhati University.

Pay: Pay Band: Rs.30,000/- 1,10,000/- + GP Rs.16,900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules of the University
Age Limite: 45 years.
Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and serving under Central Government / State Government / Union Territory Administration
- Holding analogous post or experience as Deputy Engineer / Executive Engineer for 10 years in regular service in recognized institution
- Experience in Planning, Architecture, Urban Designing / Management Supervision/ Construction of multi-storied buildings, lecture theatres, laboratories, auditorium, residential quarters / hostels, roads, water supply, sanitary installations etc. is / are desirable.
3. Assistant University Engineer (Electrical), Gauhati University.
No. of posts: 01
Pay: Pay Band: Rs.30,000/ - l, 10,000/- + GP Rs. 13,900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules of the University.
Age Limite: 21 years.
Educational Qualification:
- BE or BTech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University
- Having valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate or Competency issued by the Competent Authority
- Minimum 5 years working experience in relevant field
4. Chief Medical Officer, G.U. Hospital.

Pay: Pay Band: Rs.30,000/- -- 1,10,000/- GP Rs.16,900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules of the University
Educational Qualification:
- BE or BTech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University
- Having valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate or Competency issued by the Competent Authority
- Minimum 5 years working experience in relevant field

Rs. 1000/- is to be paid online. For SC / ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/-
