Handique Girls’ College Assam has recently invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of the Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Associate Vacancy. The position is purely temporary and coterminous with the project. The project’s duration will initially be one year and will be extendable up to two years based on yearly performance.

Fellowship:
- For NET/GATE qualified candidates: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
- For non-NET/GATE qualified candidates: Rs. 25,000/- per month. HRA will also be admissible as per DBT rules.
Essential Qualification:
A 1st class (60% marks) M.Sc. degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Bioscience and Bioinformatics from a recognized university.
Desirable: Working experience in nano-materials and bacterial biofilms.
Age Limit: 28 years at maximum as of the last date of application.
