Other Eligibility Criteria:
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized University.
- A Ph.D. Degree.
- Professors/Associate Professor with a total service experience of at least 15 (fifteen) years of teaching/ research in Universities, Colleges, and other institutions of Higher Education.
- A minimum score as stipulated in the API based on PEAS as per UGC regulation in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
- A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed or UGC listed journals (must attached self- attested valid supporting documents). And a minimum of 110 research score as per Appendix-II of Table 2 as per UGC Regulation 2018.
- A relaxation of 5% marks will be provided at Master’s Levels for the SC/ST/ Differently abled candidates for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record and relaxation of 5% marks will be provided to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991.
Age Limit: Upper age limit 55 years.

Interested and eligible applicants who have completely met the above-mentioned criteria have to send their applications in the format prescribed by the DHE Assam along with complete Bio-data and all supporting testimonials from H.S.L.C. or equivalent Examinations onwards and accompanied with non-refundable bank draft of Rs. 5000.00 (Five thousand) only drawn in favour of Principal Dhubri Girls’ College, Dhubri payable at SBI Dhubri Bazar Branch.
