Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of 2006 Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Vacancy in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in various States and Union Territories. Only those candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply.

Salary:
- Stenographer Grade 'C': Level 6 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 35400-112400)
- Stenographer Grade 'D': Level 4 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25500-81100)
Other Eligibility Criteria of SSC Stenographer Recruitment
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Skill Requirement:
- Candidates must have skills in stenography.
- Stenographer Grade 'C': Dictation: 10 minutes at the speed of 100 words per minute. Transcription: 40 minutes (English), 55 minutes (Hindi).
- Stenographer Grade 'D': Dictation: 10 minutes at the speed of 80 words per minute. Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi).
Age Limit:
- Stenographer Grade 'C': 18 to 30 years as on August 1, 2024.
- Stenographer Grade 'D': 18 to 27 years as on August 1, 2024.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee of SSC Stenographer Vacancy
- Fee Amount: Rs. 100/-
- Exemptions: Women candidates, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in from July 26, 2024 to August 17, 2024.
Candidates should fill out the application form carefully and ensure all details are correct before submitting.
A provision to make corrections in the application form will be available from August 27, 2024 to August 28, 2024.
