Other Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- For Sl. No. 1 & 2 (Mate & Blaster): Passed 10th/Matric under 10+2 system.
- For Sl. No. 3 to 18: ITI passed in the concerned trade from a recognized institute.
Candidates who passed ITI in 2021 or earlier must submit an affidavit that they have neither undergone apprenticeship training elsewhere nor taken employment.
Age Limit:
- The candidate should be between 18 to 25 years as of 1st August 2024.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC.
Other Conditions: Candidates with higher professional qualifications like Diploma/B.E. or equivalent, or higher academic qualifications like B.A./B.Sc./B.Com will not be considered.
Selection Process of HCL Vacancy
- Marks obtained in ITI and 10th will be considered.
- Weightage: 30% for ITI marks and 70% for 10th marks.
- For Mate & Blaster trades (where ITI is not required), 100% weightage will be given to 10th marks.
- In case of a tie-in mark, the candidate of higher age will be selected.

Candidates should register themselves for apprenticeship in the Government of India portal
(www.apprenticeship.gov.in). Candidate should select “Establishment Search” under the Establishment menu in the above site (www.apprenticeship.gov.in) and select Hindustan Copper Limited, Malanjkhand Copper Project for undergoing training with HCL.
The unique number generated on this website must be entered in the appropriate column in Step 2 (Online submission of application at Hindustan Copper Limited website), otherwise, the application will not be considered finally submitted.
Registration on the above portal is mandatory for all candidates, whether they are applying on 10th basis or ITI basis.
