1. Name of Post: Faculty (Marine Chief Engineer) on contract basis.
No of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Up to 67 years.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
- Certificate of Competency (COC) issued or recognised by DGS, Government of India, as Marine Engineer Officer Class I (MEO Class I) – Unlimited Horse Power.
- Should have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian or Foreign going Ships.
Desirable:
- Candidates who have teaching experience in DGS approved Institutes.
- Sailing Experience on Gas Tankers as Chief Engineer / Second Engineer.
- Done a “Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT)” OR “Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)” course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS approved Institutes.
2. Name of Post: Faculty (Electrical and Electronics Engineer) on contract basis.
No of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Up to 67 years.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 15 years of teaching experience out of which minimum 5 years of teaching in DGS approved Marine Engineering Training Institutes.
Desirable:
- Done a “Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT)” OR “Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)” course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS approved Institutes.
