Educational Qualification:
- Essential: -Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution
- Desirable: -PhD/MBA in Sports Management.
Experience:
- Essential: 15 years of experience in Management/Leadership role in Public/Private Sector Companies, Sports Organizations, Consultancy Organizations, International/Multinational Organization, Government Departments.
- Desirable: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sports Administration.
Job Roles:
i) Administer, supervise and monitor the implementation of the target Olympic Podium Scheme and Assistance to NSF Scheme for 14 priority disciplines. Assist the Mission Olympic Cell (MOC) in
fulfilment of its mandate.
ii) Lead the Secretariat staff and administer and supervise the personnel deemed fit, based on the road and the nature of work. Supervise and guide the research team for all activities undertaken/ delegated to it.
iii) Maintain strong stakeholder relations, including with National Sports Federation (NSF) to ensure that athlete training plans and performance objectives for Olympic Games are aligned with all necessary stakeholders.
iv) Monitor, evaluate and implement all plans related to infrastructure and facilities for the 14 priority disciplines. This would include overseeing the operations if training institutes, National Centre of Excellence (NCOE), Khelo India Accredited Centers (including sports science &
medicine) etc. and the need for improvement of facilities
