Other Eligibility Criteria:

• A Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed from a recognized University
• A PhD degree
• Professor / Associate Professor with a total service experience of Fifteen years of Teaching/ Research/ Administration in University/College and other Institutions of Higher Educations.
• A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed or UGC listed journals.
• A minimum of 110 research score as per Appendix-II at Table-2 of UGC Regulations 2018
• A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Master’s Degree levels for the SC/ ST/ Differently Abled candidates. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.
• A relaxation of 5% may be provided to PhD degree holders who also have obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991

Age Limit: The upper age limit altogether is 55 years
