Other Eligibility Criteria of DSE Assam Teacher Recruitment:
To be eligible for the Post Graduate Teacher positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Must have a postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject from a recognized university.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Language Requirements:
- For Assamese Medium Schools: Must have passed HSLC with Assamese as one of the subjects or have a diploma in Assamese.
- For Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, and English Medium Schools: Must have the respective language or have completed relevant studies in those languages.
Physical Fitness:
- Candidates must be physically and mentally fit, as per the guidelines.
- A medical examination will be required before the appointment.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Maximum age: 38 years for the General category (Relaxation: OBC/MOBC: 41 years, SC/ST: 43 years, PWD: 48 years).
Selection Process of DSE Assam Recruitment:
The selection process will consist of:
TET cum Recruitment Test:
The written test will be for 140 marks (Pedagogy: 50 marks, Assam and its People: 50 marks, General English: 30 marks, General Studies & Current Affairs: 10 marks).
Additional Marks:
NCC certificates recognized national-level sports, and achievements in fine arts or cultural activities will fetch up to 5 marks.
Candidates with earlier TET qualifications but not yet appointed will receive 5% weightage on their TET scores.
Merit List:
Subject-wise merit lists will be prepared based on TET scores and additional marks.
Verification of Documents:
Candidates must submit original and self-attested copies of certificates during the verification process.
