Are you a college student looking for a cool summer opportunity? Dibrugarh University is back with its Pragati Summer Internship Programme 2025! This is a great chance for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students to learn new skills, work on real projects, and earn some money. Let’s break it down simply so you can grab this opportunity!

What’s the Pragati Summer Internship About?

This internship is brought to you by Dibrugarh University with support from the DST-PURSE grant. It’s all about helping students connect what they learn in class with real-world jobs. You’ll get to join workshops, work in teams, and try out new technologies. The program follows the National Education Policy 2020 to help you grow your skills and career.

• Who can join? 30 UG students from Dibrugarh University-affiliated colleges and 20 PG students from anywhere in India.

• When? From June 15, 2025, to August 15, 2025.

• How long? 4 weeks for UG students, 6 weeks for PG students.

• Pay? UG students get ₹5,000, and PG students get ₹7,500 as a total amount.

Who Can Apply?

For UG Students:

• You should be in your 4th semester of a UG course.

• No backlogs (failed subjects) allowed.

• Need at least 7.5 CGPA up to 3rd semester (7.0 for SC/ST/OBC students).

• Must be from a college linked to Dibrugarh University.

For PG Students:

• You should be in your 2nd semester of a PG course.

• No backlogs allowed.

• Need at least 7.5 CGPA in your 1st semester (7.0 for SC/ST/OBC students).

• Open to students from any university or college in India.

You can only apply for an internship in your main subject. Check out the departments offering internships:

• UG Departments: Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Geology.

• PG Departments: Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Geology, Petroleum Technology.

How to Apply ?

Interested and suitable candidates who have fulfilled the above-mentioned eligibility criteria may follow the steps below and may apply through the links -

• Fill out the form with your details and submit it before the deadline.

How Will They Choose?

They’ll pick students based on your marks and performance. The departments will also decide who your supervisor will be.

What Happens After?

• After your internship, you need to write a report and send it to the department head within 2 weeks. Your supervisor must check it.

• You’ll get a certificate only after submitting the report.

• No accommodation is provided, so you’ll need to arrange your own place to stay.
